Mmm... two metric tons of chocolate
Belgian city St. Niklaas has entered the Guinness Book of Records with the world's biggest Easter egg, created to celebrate the renovation of Belgium's largest market square:

The chocolate egg measured 8.32 metres high and 6.39 metres wide, beating the 1996 record of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa (that egg was only 7.65 metres high, a mere tidbit for the advanced gormandizer). It was carved by twenty-six of Guylian's chocolate artisans, who no doubt work exclusively in the medium of chocolate.
